We have had a great week at TBall! Our students participated in picture day and they are excited to see the new playground come together. We are still working on routines and procedures and we'll continue to practice all year.

Next week, teachers will send home NWEA Family Reports. These reports show how your child achieved on the recent beginning of the year NWEA Math and Reading online tests. We take NWEA tests three times a year to track how our students are growing and achieving academically. If you have questions once you receive your report, please reach out to your child's teacher.

On September 27, we will host our Annual Title I Parent meeting at 4:30pm. At this meeting, we will share information about the Title I grant our school receives. Anyone is invited to attend.

September 29 is Homecoming for Crown Point High School. TBall will be participating in the Homecoming Parade on the 29th! The parade starts at the old Taft Middle School and travels south to the High School. The parade begins at 5pm. More details to come, if you'd like to participate.

On October 4, TBall will celebrate Walk to School Day! (Rain date October 6). More details with be forthcoming.

NEW ENTRANCE for 2023-24

Families will use the Preschool Entrance for Latch Key drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. The door will be marked with a sign. It is on the East Side of the building.

Our main office has moved into the new office space. When you enter the building, the main office is now on the Right Hand Side. It will take some time for us to finishing moving supplies and materials, but we are excited for the new, larger space to be able to serve students and families!

Our playgrounds have most of the equipment installed! Next, we are cutting the ground for drainage and then pouring the soft play surface. We have a little bit of time left to wait, but we are looking forward to lots of fun play when the playgrounds open soon!

Our kitchen has been receiving new appliances and other equipment, almost daily. Soon, we will be able to start connecting the new appliances and training the kitchen staff. Hot meals are on the horizon!

As our district-wide capital improvement projects continue, Timothy Ball Elementary will temporarily serve only cold lunches. Our food services team remains committed to providing healthy meals that meet all requirements of the federal school lunch guidelines. We will keep you updated on the progress of our new kitchen and the timeline for returning to the traditional lunch menu. Thanks for your understanding as we build new opportunities to better serve our students.
