A Message from Curtis Principal, Sonya Pitcock
Cougar parents,
We are thrilled to see more students on campus for this second quarter! We know what a difficult decision is can be for families and we respect all the decisions you are making. To make the changes work, we do have to alter schedules for many students and we know that’s tough. Our teachers will welcome all new students to their classes and help them get settled into their systems and pick up the learning right where the first quarter ended. Always feel free to reach out to any teacher with questions, comments or concerns. We are all in this together to serve our students and move their learning forward.
Students attending all AISD athletic events must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets for middle school games are available for purchase only online. Students are expected to sit with the adults who they come with and leave with that adult as well. This helps us follow socially distancing and management of our safety protocols. We want to stay safe so our kids can keep playing! Thank you for your support and please let us know if you have any questions.
You may have seen information about the AISD Bond 2020 package via community meetings, signs, flyers, etc., but here is the district site to refer to for any questions you may still have.
https://www.allenisdbond.org/ Early voting opened on October 13 and will run through October 30. Election day is November 3.
Sincerely,
Sonya Pitcock

Virtual Science Fair
The Allen ISD Science Fair is going virtual this year! Both Elementary and Secondary campus fairs will need to be virtual due to COVID19. Instructions and deadlines for the fair will be shared by campus science fair coordinators soon.
Due to the nature of COVID19, we are proceeding as though the regional and state fairs will be virtual as well, however this may change.
