FYFFE FORCE LEARNERS commit to climb the mountain of learning for life
Kei te whakaaro te tumuaki.
We have had such an eventful first three weeks, even though we have the red light conditions to work with the children and their teachers are doing really exciting learning adventures. We have three new staff members this year, nau mai haere mai to Mrs Chan Toala our new kaiako/teacher in Titi. Jerusha Hislop our new kaiawhina/learning support assisstant who is also based in Titi while we are in the red light and myself the new tumuaki/principal at your beautiful kura/school Kaikōura Suburban School. We also welcome all our new children and their whānau to our school community.
This year our L4L focus is 'Enterprise' and we begin this by having a visit from John Orchard he has expertise in History and local knowledge.
It was very unfortunate that we had to make the decision postpone the Whale Run for a third time and move it to September this year. We want to expand the committee so that we have the capacity to have alternate options for running the Whale Run should the re light or other circumstances arise out of covid. Please contact myself, Annie or other members of the committee if you would like to be a part of organising the whale run.
Swimming lessons with Toni have been successful, sometimes the weather hasn't played its' part in warming our gorgeous pool.
It has been so lovely getting to know your children and yourselves, if you haven't already please come in and meet me I look forward to getting to know you.
