Este es un taller gratuito para padres de familia de todas las escuelas de KCS, sobre lo que es un Plan de Educación Individualizada (IEP, por sus siglas en inglés) para niños que tienen necesidades especiales de aprendizaje. La meta de una reunión de IEP es trabajar en equipo para crear un plan de educación para tu hijo. Tú rol, como padre de familia y parte del equipo, no solo es importante, sino que es crítico para el éxito de tu hijo. Este taller te ayudará a entender y navegar el proceso y a saber cómo abogar por tu hijo.

Assistive Technology for Students with Dyslexia: A Two-Part Series, Part 1

This workshop will discuss the fundamentals of dyslexia for families with students from elementary through college age. Demonstrations will include low-tech to high-tech tools to support literacy and reading.
