Hello Fronteras Families!
What a fantastic and fun Spirit Week! Thank you for helping your kiddos dress for each day! Please enjoy the fun photos throughout this newsletter! February’s Spirit Week is the 22nd – 26th.
We cannot believe that we are at the end of January already! The school year continues to fly by! Parent conferences are next month on the 15th and 16th. Our spring conferences are student focused, so your children’s teachers are working on what these conferences will look like. I’ve had a sneak peek at an academic slide show that one of our fourth graders made, and it is spectacular!
Intent forms went home last Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who has already returned them! Intent forms are posted on our school website if needed. These forms are important, as they inform us as to which students are returning to Fronteras in the Fall. Intent forms are due April 14th. Thank you again for returning those forms!
Current 5th, 6th, & 7th grade students are eligible to apply for our Student Ambassador position. Applications can be found on our website as well as in this newsletter, and are due Friday, Feb. 12th. Applications can be submitted to the front office or emailed to Miss Kami. This year is a bit different. The student(s) selected as our Ambassador will hold the position from this March through next school year. I am happy to answer questions about applying or Ambassador responsibilities, so don’t hesitate to ask!

Morning Drop-Off Safety Requirements!
- STUDENTS MUST STAY IN PARENT VEHICLE UNTIL STAFF ARE PRESENT AT FRONT DOOR
- VEHICLES MUST PULL ALL THE WAY FORWARD
- PARENTS MAY NOT GET OUT OF VEHICLE AT SIDEWALK – PARK IN THE PARKING LOT INSTEAD
- STUDENTS MUST BE READY TO EXIT VEHICLE AT SIDEWALK – DO NOT DELAY OTHER PARENTS
- SCHOOL DOORS CLOSE AT 8:00AM – STUDENTS MUST RING DOORBELL WHEN ARRIVING AFTER 8:00AM
- PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY, USE BLINKER WHEN NECESSARY, AND BE AWARE OF SURROUNDINGS
