The Eagle Expo

The weather has turned! Here comes winter. Please be sure to send your children to school dressed to be outside at recess and lunch. We will be outside unless the air quality is dangerous, it is actively snowing or raining or the temperature is below 20 degrees (including wind chill). It is very important for children to get some fresh air and run around if at all possible. If you need your child to stay indoors please send a note to school. Mathnasium is this Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm. There will be games, activities and prizes. Join us for a fun evening!

VETERANS DAY/VETERANS WALL

This week is Veterans Day. We typically like to have a flag ceremony at the flag pole, but it is supposed to be extremely cold Friday morning. Teachers will recognize Veterans Day in their classrooms. We will be adding to our Veterans Wall. If you have a family member that has served our country, please send a picture along with a very brief (one paragraph) write up about that person. We will hang it up on our wall. Please only send copies of pictures as they will not be returned. Each year we continue to add to the wall. It is very impressive. Stop by and take a look when you have a minute.

Our next general meeting will be November 16th at 9:30am at the school. We will be amending and going over the budget so if you have any questions, concerns, etc. about the budget this would be the meeting to come to. You're also more than welcome to email us as well, if you are unable to attend the meeting in person. We'll also be talking about planning some Christmas stuff too!
