AP/AICE Night
AP/AICE Night will be held in the WBRHS Theatre on Tuesday, February 6th at 6pm.
This is a great opportunity for our WBRHS families to receive more information regarding the AP and AICE diploma options and industry certification classes.
Students and parents/guardians will also have the opportunity to speak with our current AP, AICE, and Industry Certification teachers regarding their class curriculum.
We hope you join us for this wonderful event.

Upcoming Test Dates - School Day SAT for Juniors & ACT NCR for Juniors & Seniors
- School Day SAT for the 11th graders only is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12th and there will be no retakes this year.
- ACT NCR (Non-College Reportable) for only 11th and 12th graders who need ELA or Algebra 1 concordance is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th, Wednesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 18th.

FAFSA Night
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Night, hosted by TRIO, will be held on Thursday, January 18th from 6-8pm in the Media Center. This event is only for 12th grade students and their families. This is a great opportunity if you need help completing your FAFSA or have specific questions. If you are interested in attending, you must RSVP by January 17th through the RSVP link below in order to secure a seat. It is also suggested that the student and one parent/guardian create their FSA ID at least five days before the event.

Senior Transcripts:
If your student needs an “unofficial transcript” (not sending to schools) the student should email their school counselor. Unofficial transcripts will be available within 24 hours.

Edgenuity Credit Recovery
This is an important announcement regarding Edgenuity courses this school year. Students with a D or F in their core classes can retake the course and make up the credit in night school on Edgenuity via credit recovery.
The credit recovery lab will be open Monday-Thursday from 3:00pm -7:00pm throughout the school year. There will be transportation via activity bus .

Attention Parents of 9th & 10th graders:
If you would like to view your students results from the 1st ELA progress monitoring assessment, please go to the SIS Parent Gateway and Student Portal which will provide direct access to the State Family Portal that houses their results.
If you do not have access to the SIS Parent Gateway, please contact Student Services for your security pin.

9th and 10th Grade PM2 Testing
All 9th and 10th grades will be taking the ELA Progress Monitoring assessment 2 will be taking place this week. Standard time students will be taking the exam on Wednesday, Jan 17 (even) or Thursday, Jan 18 (odd) based on their ELA class period. Students with accommodating will be taking their exam throughout the week. Students ask talk to their ELA teachers for more information. This Progress Monitoring assessment is very important. Scores may impact student course selection options and tutorial placements in preparation for PM3. Students need to bring their Chromebook fully charged to school everyday.

AICE Walk-in/Retake Exam Registration
Walk-in refers to a student that is not taking the course associated with the exam they want to take.
Retake refers to a student wants to retake an AICE exam to meet the exam course requirement or to extend the 25-month AICE diploma window requirement.
You must pay for the exam yourself.
AICE exams: $116 for all exams except $185 for A Level exams and $146 for Global Perspective.
and pay the the exam to by the deadline or your exam will not be ordered. Late fees will apply if you register after the deadline.

FY24 Student and Family Handbook
AP Italian students WINNERS of the XXIII Italian Language Week in the World
AP Italian class, at the beginning of this school year, participated in a competition in occasion of the XXIII Italian Language Week in the World - XXIII Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo - and WON for the best powerpoint with images on the theme of "Italian and Sustainability" in connection with the centenary of the birth of Italo Calvino, a famous italian author whose works are focused on environmental issues.
A special jury, composed of Claudio Di Persia (chairman), and Professors Clara Iafelice and Simona Muratore, determined to award prizes to the following works produced by the students, divided into categories corresponding to the different formats provided:
Prize for a PowerPoint presentation including images and text in Italian
Multi-generational collaboration among Italian students in Boca Raton, Florida: Sunrise Park Elementary School, West Boca Community High School, Florida Atlantic University
