News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
This week many exciting things happened around St. Teresa School. On Wednesday, we started our day with a wonderful homily by Father Joseph about loving one another, and how Jesus is always with us. Then students got an opportunity to smile for the camera as it was picture day. If you forgot about picture day, no problem, picture re-take day will be coming soon.
This morning our wonderful 5th graders, and new 6th - 8th graders were trained to be servers. We are excited for them to serve at Mass on Wednesday, but also Saturday and Sunday!
This afternoon was our first Faith Family Gathering! It is always a fun time for students to get to gather in groups to participate in fun activities that promote serving God. This years theme is Encourage One Another and Build Each Other Up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
This is just a friendly reminder that on Tuesday, September 5th from 2:00 - 3:30 : 3rd and 4th graders will have the opportunity to receive server training at St. Teresa Church. We are excited about the opportunity for our 3rd and 4th graders to be able to serve during Mass! Students who will be attending server training must be picked up at the St. Teresa Church parking lot at 3:30pm.
Safe and Sacred Permission Slips must be returned no later than October 13th.
As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal

Parents will be trained on how we got here, what they will hear from the legislators, and how to respond. The more parents that participate the more the work is spread around.
