Our Week Closing September 22nd
Dear Wildcat Families,
We are looking ahead to our Back to School Night next week and all of the fun October brings us. Back to School Night will be held on September 28. Later in this newsletter, you will find information related to this event. Information was also sent via ParentSquare. Our Wildcat student leaders and members of Toms River High School North's Heritage Club will be on hand to help you find your child's classroom. Please visit our PTO table, our Scholarship Committee table and other community organizations. We look forward to seeing you!
Our school has a new Instagram account. Please follow us @wsewildcats. We already have over 100 followers! Here, we will be posting pictures and information about our school.
Student ROAR ticket winners were announced this week. Winners received prizes and school-wide recognition for being safe, responsible, and respectful! I would also like to recognize our staff winners this week: Mrs. Heather Coe and Mrs. Patty Dellane! Our PBSIS committee has put in so much work in this endeavor. We will continue to be proactive in our approach to kind and responsible behavior to continue to make our school an outstanding place to learn and grow!
During the first week of October, our school will be observing our anti-bullying Week of Respect. Below, you will see our themed dress days for this very important week. Students of all grade levels will learn about tolerance, respect, and anti-bullying themes. Week of Respect activities and themes will continue throughout the year.

Attendance Counts!
On Monday, September 18, our Kindergarten grade level had perfect attendance! Congratulations!
Last week our school based attendance committee met and we have great attendance initiatives planned for our students to increase positive school climate and make sure we are coming to school everyday ready to learn. Lawn signs (like the one below) have been placed around our school and surrounding area. If you see one of these signs, stop and take your picture, then post to social media (Instagram @wsewildcats)..... #everystudentmatterseverymomentcounts
