The Savage Life!

Our WHS Officer Team, led by Ms. Shyann McWhirter, had a very busy week last week celebrating National FFA Week!

Monday- Started off the week at Lazer Zone for a whole group outing!

Tuesday- The 6 FFA Officers traveled to the State Capitol where we were able to talk to representatives and learn a few things about legislation and bills. Thank you Cindy Roe and Jessica Garvin for spending time with our FFA members.

Wednesday- Middle School Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and presentation and activities with the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade student.

Thursday- Elementary Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and made/served ice cream with 278 students.

Friday- High School Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and FFA Members Luncheon. Thank you M5 Farms (Shan & Angie McWhirter) for donating the beef and for helping grill.

Saturday- Cake & Pie Auction and Local Show.

Thank you to everyone who has supported them this week! It's been great seeing them so active and making a difference in their state, school and community! We wish them the best of luck as they embark on the Garvin County Junior Livestock Show this week!
