We have streamlined our submittal process and we are utilizing the Google Forms platform.
To submit a Candidate Nomination and Biography form, please click here.
These forms are due by April 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm.
In order to better understand the roles and responsibilities of Board candidates please review the Candidate Eligibility Requirements listed below:
Potential candidates must attend a minimum of two (2) regular CCA Board meetings during the nine (9) months prior to the April Board meeting. The March Board meeting is an eligible meeting for this requirement.
Potential candidates must interview with at least one (1) current Board member prior to the nomination form submittal deadline.
Potential candidates must agree to complete all required “Board modules” if elected. They must also agree to abide by the Code of Conduct, Duty of Care and Loyalty and Conflict of Interests policies.
Potential candidates must agree to abide by the CCA “Non-Negotiables.”
CCA staff members and spouses of CCA staff members are not allowed to run for the CCA Board.
Only one parent or legal guardian per family may serve on the CCA Board at the same time.
In order to be eligible to run for the CCA Board, candidates must have at least one student who is returning to CCA for the upcoming school year.
In order to be eligible to run for the CCA Board, candidates must have completed and have documented (under their own unique volunteer account through the current CCA volunteer hours’ database) at least 50% of their annual volunteer hours (20 of 40 hours per family, or 10 of 20 hours per single parent) by the time of nomination.
For more details about the Election process, please click here to view the Board Election Policy.
The Election will be held by an electronic ballot. A unique and confidential electronic ballot will be sent to the email address listed in PowerSchool for each parent/guardian.
Due to an update in Powerschool in the District, the only way for you to change your email addresses and phone numbers as of right now is to contact the school and have us change them manually. This is crucial to know with an election coming up as the ballot is only delivered to the emails on file in Powerschool. If you would like to change your email address please fill out this quick form or if you have any questions please feel free to email Rachel Brooks at rbrooks@cherrycreekacademy.org. Please update your email address in PowerSchool by May 3, 2022.
If you have questions about the election, please email the Election Committee at election@cherrycreekacademy.org.

Update on Ukraine Donations organized by STUCO
Mr. Nolen, who runs STUCO, received this wonderful letter and photo in response to our donations:
Thank you for all your help in making donations for Ukraine a success. We were amazed by the amount of donations collected in such a short time. We're proud to be part of this school community that cares so much about Ukraine. We dropped off these donations at the warehouse yesterday. Picture is attached. Volunteers from Ukrainians of Colorado will sort everything. Once that's done, Project C.U.R.E. International ships it to Ukraine. Again, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.

Attention 7th Grade Families
Dear 7th Grade Families,
We hope you and your family are having a wonderful year and enjoying seeing one another’s smiles again. The Admissions Season for the Class of 2027 has arrived and we want to be sure all families, interested in exploring Regis Jesuit High School, have taken the first step in the admissions process by creating an online admissions account. Through your online admissions account, we will communicate with you about all upcoming admissions events, including family tours, the practice HSPT entrance exam, and our Summer Kickoff Carnival for the Class of 2027. Your admissions account will also serve as your one stop to register for events, apply to Regis Jesuit, and track your application materials.
As you discern what high school is right for your family, we hope you keep Regis Jesuit in mind. We want to be sure you have every opportunity needed to make this significant decision. You may also visit our Regis Jesuit Admissions website for more information or contact us via e-mail or phone with any questions or concerns. We hope to see many of you on campus in the coming months and we are excited to get to know your family.
Best Regards,

New Volunteer Process
New Colorado legislation has prompted greater need to screen and document volunteers in our schools. Therefore, beginning January 2022, we must ensure that every person entering CCA must have a CCA staff badge or a visitor badge printed from the Raptor System. Please be sure to have your identification on you so that you can share that with Ms. Sadie if you need to enter CCA. Using the raptor system Ms. Sadie will then print a Raptor ID badge for you.
CCSD is also requiring that every volunteer complete a brief application to support activities in CCSD schools. This application links directly to CCSD's raptor system.
To access the new form, please click on the following link: https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/NzU0OmVuLVVT
If you need help filling out this new form, please call CCSD Communication Services at 720-554-4475. We thank you for your partnership in keeping our schools safe!
