Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families-
Goodbye October, Hello November! Now I appreciate what my parents and grandparents meant by time going by faster as you get olderâŚ.
We hope you have settled into your routine as parents getting back to school and activities full time as well. I want to remind you that the Ridgeline Admin and Counseling team is always available when you have a situation youâre not sure how to approach. We may not have all the answers, but, like Farmers Ins⌠âWe know a thing or two, because weâve seen a thing or two.â
Iâd like to acknowledge the time and effort from our activities leaders and athletic coaches. There are always so many hours of work behind the scenes of practice and games. Like teaching, coaching is an artâwith many nuanced moments to help our participants to be at their best. Iâm proud of the accomplishments of our fall sports and activity groups. AND, Iâd like to recognize Mr. Grady Emmerson for all of his hard work for the past two years to prepare our programs and people to be ready for this moment!
Itâs the Ridgeline way.
Make it a great weekend! âMr. Hardt

Hey Ridgeline Falcon Families, is your company or a company you know of HIRING? Would you like some help in matching up age 16 and older high school students with your job openings? If the answer is YES, please email Kelli Demarest, the Worksite Learning Coordinator at kdemarest@cvsd.org to post your job on our job board, and/or to help match your company/organization with the right student employee. We would love to help you.
Miss Washington Jr. Teen
Hailey Stroh, 9th Grade student with Ridgeline is currently Miss Washington Jr. Teen and will be competing at internationals in Florida November 17th â 30th. National American Miss and International Junior Miss teach girls how to be leaders; make a difference in their community; gain interview skills; create a great resume; and opens the door to friendships with like-minded service oriented girls all over the world.
Hailey has only competed three times. When she was 7 years old she did her first pageant at National American Miss and surprised us when she won the title of Miss Washington Princess. She then went on to Nationals, in California, and shocked us when she was crowned the National Princess. She had an amazing year of service as she traveled all over the country to be a representative of this amazing organization. $6,000 college scholarship was a nice perk too. Unfortunately, after serving in that capacity she got sick with Lyme disease. After taking a four year break to get better she has made a great recovery and is back to making a big difference in her community and back on the stage. We are so grateful for these unique experiences that have helped Hailey realize that she can do anything she puts her mind to and that she is never too young to be a force for good in the world.
Starting at age six, Hailey, with the support of our community, local businesses, schools, friends, and family, has been able to put together and donate 78 Wish Packs and raised thousands of dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She even received the Kohlâs Cares Scholarship Award for her impact in the community and a plaque from the Make-A-Wish Foundation for her contributions to their organization. Haileyâs next big project will involve her fellow classmates at Ridgeline High School and she has been working with Mr. Emmerson and the Make-A-Wish Foundation so stay tuned for some fun while helping those most in need. Her motto is âFind and Fulfillâ and she has found a great need with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She canât wait to involve her fellow students in fulfilling those needs!
She is off to Internationals in November and will be competing with girls from all over the world. She has already made some friends with her fellow sister queens from the Philippines, Australia, and Ireland. The friendships and personal growth are some of the greatest rewards!
Veterans Day
Dear Falcon students, families, and staff,
We would like to honor the veterans in your family during Veterans Day next week. We have a few questions and you can upload a photograph of your family and closest friends who have served. These vets will be honored during the assembly and throughout the week on our video screens in the Commons.
You can only fill out one form, but each form can accept up to 5 veterans. We are requesting students and staff to fill out information for one veteran, but you can add up to four more if you have a lot of service history in your immediate family.
Photographs in uniform are wonderful, but it is not required that uploaded photos are of someone in their uniform. Please complete submissions by Monday, November 1st so we can include your honorees in the assembly the following week. Thank you for helping us honor those who you are close to. Veterans Day is an important day to celebrate our service men and women.
