BHS JUNIORS - OPTIONAL SAT PREP
On April 23rd, Juniors will be taking the SAT at Barrington High School. Students are familiar with the digital format after completing the digital NMSQT/PSAT this past October. For students or families looking for additional prep we recommend that students use the free resources available from College Board and Khan Academy.
In addition, many private companies offer fee-based test prep programs. There are a large variety of options that families can look into on their own, one such program is offered by Academic Tutoring & Test Prep. They will be offering an ONLINE prep program in the evenings for 6 weeks leading up to the April SAT, These online classes are open only to BHS students. More info can be found in this Flier.
Please SAVE THE DATE for Barrington High School’s first Career Expo! We have expanded the Skilled Trades Fair beyond the trades and this expo will now include local partners to represent all career pathways. Students will learn about careers and interact with employers. We will also have CTE teachers present to speak with students about their classes. The Expo will be held on Tuesday, January 30th from 3rd period through 7th period. It will be available to high school students during their lunch periods.

See Something, Say Something
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority and we commit to offering a safe
and secure educational environment. Barrington 220 is now partnering with an Illinois school safety helpline aimed at providing students a place to report information that might prevent bullying, suicide, and campus violence. Safe2Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It allows students to confidentially share school safety issues via a mobile app, text, email, or phone call. You will notice that the "See Something, Say Something" button on our district and school website now links directly to the Safe2Help contact page. We are asking that all students, parents, staff, and community members now use this platform to report safety concerns. In the case of an emergency, call 911.BARRINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
