"A Message from the Principal"
Dear Parent(s) and Riverview Rams:
We are excited to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year at Riverview Gardens High School. The past two years have been quite a challenge, with students and teachers discovering a new way of teaching and learning. This school year represents a time of restoration and resilience. Through our time apart we have been committed to developing new ways of learning, creating opportunities for academic and emotional support, while remaining committed to the safety and health of our high school scholars and staff. We are committed to student achievement and understand that parental involvement in a student's education is a vital part of that success. Our high school scholars are required to meet the following expectations:
- Clear and/or Mesh Book Bags ONLY for all scholars
- Refer to your SIS K12 Student Portal to review your schedule of classes and keep track of your academic needs.
- Be respectful of the staff, students, teachers, and administrators of Riverview Gardens High School on campus.
- Stay focused on your education by actively participating in all instruction on campus. Please ensure that you are completing all assignments and preparing for tests. This is your time to shine. Stay on task, so that you won’t fall behind. Remember that credits matter and are essential in your quest for graduation.
- Reach out to your Counselor or Social Worker for support as soon as the need arises.
- Check your district assigned email for any notices from your teacher.
- Always strive to do better than your best!
As your Principal, I am committed to your success and will do whatever it takes to assist you as you enter this next phase of your life as we transition back to in-person learning. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call. Our team can be reached at: 314-869-4700. Thank you in advance for your help in committing to making this year one for academic and personal success. We will get through this together with Pride, Respect and Responsibility! Welcome back, RAMS!
