Back-to-School Fair
Lewisville ISD’s Back-to-School Fair is an annual event that provides more than 6,000 students in need with free backpacks, supplies and resources to start the school year. This year, the fair is set for Saturday, Aug. 5 at Lewisville High School (1098 W. Main Street, Lewisville). For every $25 raised, a student in need will get a backpack filled with supplies to start the new school year.

One Vision Task Force Progress Update
This spring, Lewisville ISD sought individuals interested in participating in the One Vision Task Force, a group of stakeholders who represent a diverse group of LISD constituents charged with developing a plan and potential bond package that can be recommended to the LISD Board of Trustees for consideration.
In the first three meetings, the One Vision Task Force has learned about school finance, technology usage, construction costs, safety and security measures and more. Visit LISD.net/OneVision to hear from the task force members, read meeting recaps and more.

LISD Staff Spotlight: Dr. Cory Malcolm
Flower Mound High School 9th Grade Campus assistant principal Dr. Cory Malcolm recently earned his doctoral degree from the University of North Texas. In this Staff Spotlight, Dr. Malcolm discusses his educational journey and the support he received from his family, peers and students along the way.

The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) presented four LISD educators with the 2023 Cain Sczepanski Award of Excellence. The award is given to nominated special education educators who demonstrate classroom excellence. READ MORE
Wellington Teacher Named LISD Elementary Teacher of the Year
