Out of Country Travel:

The Macomb County Health Department requires that anyone who is traveling outside of the country must self-quarantine for 10 days upon their return. Please contact our district nurse with student-centered travel or covid questions: Kate Merlo RN (586) 723-2188.

Parents: as the weather changes and the rain comes in, the playgrounds will be wet at times. Please pack your student a change of clothes in case they fall in the mud or slide down a wet slide. They can keep this in a bag and in their lockers, so they aren’t carrying them back and forth. This is asked for ALL grade levels. Wet clothes can happen to anyone.

We are having so much fun learning about plants in second grade! We planted grass seed and created faces on our cups. So far we have recorded two observations in our plant journals. We look forward to our grass people needing haircuts or ponytails soon!

Ms.Rees, Ms. Metcalfe and Mrs. Kowalski's classes participated in the Chicago Field Museum's SUE the T. Rex Virtual Tour for Classrooms. It was a virtual field trip where we learned all about the most recent Tyrannosaurs Rex dinosaur found.

Book bingo was a huge success today! I just wanted to say thank you all for all your hard work that you put into this event. I also wanted to tell you what one of my students said about today. He said, “today was the best day we have had!” I think he summarized the afternoon very well. Thanks again!
