Upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences - November 1st and 2nd
Mark your calendars! Parent-Teacher Conferences for both BHA campuses are right around the corner on November 1st and 2nd. These conferences are a fantastic opportunity to connect with your child's teachers and gain insights into their academic journey.
Please note that on these conference days, students will be dismissed at 12:15 pm.
Last week, we emailed the links to sign up for conference appointments to all our families. If you haven't already scheduled a meeting with your child's teacher, please refer to the email from last week to find the provided link and secure your appointment.
AG Campus Spirit Days
We have two exciting Spirit Days coming up at our school:
Character Day: On November 1, you can dress up as your favorite Sahabi, book character, sports player, or any positive role model.
Crazy Hat Day: On November 2, wear your craziest hat to school.
We'd also like to remind everyone to follow our Islamic dress code guidelines.
Let's make these Spirit Days fun and remember to respect our dress code.
6th-10th Character Development & Leadership Program Update
The sixth grade is excited to announce that they will be hosting a morning assembly this Friday. During this assembly, they will emphasize the significance of a strong community. Moreover, as part of their character development class project, the students will organize community-building games and activities. It promises to be an engaging and educational event for everyone involved. Additionally, the sixth graders led a successful bake sale last Friday to raise funds to support their project.
We look forward to seeing you there! Your support and participation are greatly appreciated as we work together to build a stronger and more connected community.

CC Campus Book Fair Update
Alhamdulilah we have wrapped up a very successful Book Fair. We thank all of you for your participation and enthusiasm in the week-long event. We especially thank Sister Aalaae and the PTO for their dedication, diligence, and exceptional creativity. You have instilled a love of reading within our students and we are so grateful that our young scholars have reflections of themselves in the literature they read.
For those who were not able to attend our Crescent Moon Book Fair, you can still order books online at www.crescentmoonbookstore.com. Please use Promo Code: BRIGHTHORIZON so the proceeds can be sent to BHA (20%) and our brother and sisters in Palestine (80%). The promo code will only be valid for one week from today.
Friendly reminder that our Read-A-Thon competition will continue until the end of October. Please have your child(ren) continue logging their hours engaged in literature. Our Book Drive will also continue until the end of October. We thank each and every one of you who generously donated to our class libraries. May Allah bless our selfless community and continue to shower us with barakah and mercy in this life and the next. Ameen.

Staying Home When Not Feeling Well
To ensure the well-being of our school community, please keep your child at home if they show flu-like symptoms. If a student has had a fever, we kindly ask that they wait for 24 hours after the fever has gone away without using fever-reducing medication before returning to school.
Your cooperation in following this guideline helps us maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and support.
