Fox Family Updates for the Week...
Good Evening Fox Families, this is your assistant principal Bethany Ruhlman with this week’s announcements and reminders. I hope everyone had an enjoyable Fall Break and we are looking forward to seeing our Foxes tomorrow morning!
The time is almost here for our Talent Show being held at 6 PM on November 30th. We are excited to see our talented students showcase their skills. We hope to see you, please plan to come and support our young performers.
From December 11th to 15th, our school will be hosting the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to purchase small gifts for family and friends. More details will be provided closer to the date.
December 15th marks the end of the 2nd grading period. Please ensure that all assignments and projects are completed and turned in on time.
On December 15th, we will be celebrating all of our Amistad den members. Please note this is a date change from December 14th. Amistad den members are asked to wear their Amistad den shirts, and all other students, staff, and family members are asked to wear red for our Amistad den breakfast and unity day. Please don't forget to send in your RSVP.
Congratulations to our ECSE teacher, Mrs. Alyssa Robinson! She was chosen as the Team LCPS Certified MVP winner last week. We are extremely proud of her and all that she does for our foxes. This award is well-deserved!
We would also like to express our gratitude to Blue Ridge Pizza Food Truck for their generous support. They provided pizzas for all of our third-grade students during a culminating fractions activity. Their kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated. Additionally, thank you to the parent volunteers who assisted Blue Ridge and our teachers with the activity!
We would also like to thank our Fox Family for their support and donations for our holiday meal baskets. The generosity of our community is amazing!
With Fox Pride,
Bethany Ruhlman
