PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Friday, January 27th
What a fun week we had with some snow fun thrown in! Many of our students remembered to bring their snow gear so were able to play in the snow and enjoy their recess! Please do remember to send your children in with boots AND snow pants if they would like to play in the snow - they will not be allowed onto the field unless they have BOTH snow pants and boots. Please ensure that gloves and boots are waterproof or be sure to pack extra socks so the students can be comfortable and dry after recess.
If you have registered an incoming Kindergartener at Patton you can drop paperwork any day between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Mrs Hamilton will also be in the office until 7pm on Thursday, February 16th if you would like to drop it in during your conference time.
Please be on the lookout for an email that will be arriving in your inbox on Sunday, January 29th at 7:00 pm - this email will contain the link for you to signup for Parent/Teacher Conferences. The SignUpGenius link will go live at 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm and safe and enjoy the snow!

VALENTINE'S DAY PARTIES (NEW POST!)
Valentine's Parties will take place on Tuesday, February 14th and will generally run from 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm. Some classes will adjust their party time due to their specials schedule. Your child's room parents should have already reached out to you regarding volunteer opportunities for this event.
Students are welcome to bring in Valentine's cards for all of their classmates - please do remember that no food or candy of any sort can be attached or used as Valentines. Thank you for your cooperation. We greatly appreciate our room parents and all of our volunteers who organize and provide fun Valentine's experiences for our students!

Traffic Team. - Substitutes Needed (Ongoing Post)
We have a truly AMAZING PTA traffic team that ensure our Panthers arrive to and depart from school safely and on time! If you would like to help out, please consider signing up as a substitute by filling in this form. It helps our traffic team enormously to know that there are subs available should someone fall sick or be unavailable. You can indicate if you only have availability for AM or PM and will receive a group text when there is a need. You can volunteer if you are available, but no pressure if you are not available. Any help is appreciated and benefits so many of our students. Believe it or not, even if you can only help twice during the year, your contribution is welcome and needed. Thanks so much in advance!
