On Friday we celebrated our first Leadership Spotlight Assembly of the year for Habit #1: Being Proactive. It was amazing to hear how our young leaders are modeling this trait across our campus.
This Friday we will continue celebrating our student's success with the first Achievement Awards Ceremony of the year. We will be recognizing students for their Excellent Attendance and/or Achievement in the classroom. If your student is being recognized at this awards ceremony, an invitation inviting you to join us has been sent home.
In order to support reporting or verifying a student absences, we have created a new Google Form.
The link below will allow you to let our team know when a student is out and the reason for the absence. All student absences are required to be reported. Then depending of the reason for the absence, it will be coded as excused or unexcused in PowerSchool.

This link will also be added to the "Quick Links" section on the home page of our school website. You are still welcome to call or email our office to report an absence. Ms. Ruth Bustamante remains on a leave, so while we continue to have visiting support staff cover her role, we hope this new Google Form will be more efficient and ensure our attendance accuracy. Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
