Re-Enroll NOW for a discount!
TODAY you will receive your Gradelink Login information in your Friday envelope AND in an email from our office. Please use this to update your information and reenroll for the 2023-2024 school year.
Please note: Families will automatically be invoiced for the $300 enrollment fee. If you would rather pay by credit card, you must call our business office at 760-747-3029 ext. 6111.
THERE ARE DISCOUNT INCENTIVES! Please look for re-enrollment incentives in the letter below.
Dear Parents:
We are honored that your family chose Grace Christian School. We pray that you continue to see the value of our rigorous academic programs, small class sizes, and dedicated faculty and staff that are committed to fostering in each student a love for learning and a lifelong relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus!
As we look forward to next year, there will be a modest 3% increase in our base tuition rates to cover a cost of living increase for our faculty and staff and to ensure the continuation of the excellent programs we brought back last year (including PE, Rosetta Stone, and Music/Fine Arts). Please see the Tuition and Extended Care Rates schedule HERE. The enrollment fee this year is $300.
Remember our tuition rate is “all-inclusive”. This means that your tuition covers the cost of your child’s device (K-5 Tablets/6-8 Chromebooks), Friday T-shirt, Yearbook, Earthquake/Disaster Prep Kit, Curriculum Materials, Assignment Book (4-8 grade), and all of your student’s basic school supplies.
Enrollment for next school year opens on February 24th, please go into Gradelink and confirm your student’s information (like medications and emergency contacts) to complete the enrollment process. We will email your Gradelink login directly from Gradelink on the 24th for your convenience. To simplify the enrollment process, we will automatically invoice your student’s enrollment fee. Remember, your student’s spot is not secured until the enrollment fee is paid.
Would you like to save $100 on the enrollment fee? All you have to do is pay the enrollment fee in full by March 10th. If you miss that date, you can still save $50 off the enrollment fee if paid by April 30th.
Since enrollment will open to all students (new and returning) beginning March 1st, we encourage you to pay your enrollment fee as soon as possible to secure your spot!
Finally, we are always honored when our families refer a new student to Grace. This year we are offering a referral incentive of $500 for every Grace family that refers a new student. The student will need to enroll in K-8th grade and complete a full trimester. Upon completion of the trimester, you will receive a $500 credit towards tuition, for each new student enrolled. There is no limit on the number of referrals or credits that one family can receive. Make sure the new family tells us that you referred them to Grace.
The 2023-2024 school calendar link is HERE for your planning purposes.
Also, a flier for our K-8th Open House on March 23rd can be found below.
As always, please contact me if you have any questions!

UPDATE on Covid Procedures
1. If your child is exposed to a COVID-positive person at home: (Exposure means that they have been within 6 feet of a COVID-positive person for longer than 15 minutes) (Also, count from the last person in the household to turn positive.)
- Your child should be tested for COVID at least three (3) days after the person they’ve been exposed to tested positive. (Day 1 is the day after exposure!)
- If they are negative, they may attend school unless they develop any symptoms.
- If they begin symptoms, they need to test again for COVID.
- If any person tests positive, the day they test positive is day ZERO (0). The day after that is day one (1). Your child should isolate and count out five (5) days. They then should test on the morning of day six (6).
- If the child tests negative, they may return to school that day, day six (6).
- If the child tests positive, they may test the next day or every day until it returns a negative reading OR just may return on day eleven (11). When it is negative or on day eleven (11), they may return to school.
3. If your child has been exposed to COVID at school: (Exposure means that they have been in the same classroom as a person that has tested positive)
- Your family will receive an email notifying them of the exposure date and giving more details on the next steps.
- Your child may attend school but should test on day three (3) after the person they were exposed to tests positive. (Day 1 is the day after exposure!)
- If they develop symptoms, they need to test for COVID BUT must ensure that they test at least 3 days after the date of their classmate’s reported exposure.
Grace has been blessed with many COVID tests. If you don’t have enough, let us know. We would be happy to test your child. The tests we have take 30 minutes for results!

Cold & Flu Season Information
Cold and flu season is upon us. Health officials are warning there may be high levels of influenza compared to the past two years when COVID-19 precautions helped keep flu infections low. As a reminder, please do not send your child to school if they are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of a virus. Keeping your sick child home will be a great benefit for the health and wellness of our students and staff. As you know, we here at Grace have a two-day rule that is helping us keep illnesses down and it is working very well. Your commitment to following this rule stops the spread and keeps more children in school.
The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness. Some people, such as older people, young children, and people with certain health conditions, are at high risk of serious flu complications. Symptoms of influenza can vary, but generally include a high fever, headache, chills, body aches, sore throat, and cough.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers these tips to prevent influenza:
● Get vaccinated every year
● Avoid close contact with sick people
● Frequently wash hands with soap
● Stay at home if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms
● Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
● Individuals with chronic health issues and/or individuals experiencing severe symptoms should be evaluated by a medical professional.
The influenza vaccine is available at doctors’ offices and retail pharmacies and is covered by medical insurance. People with no health care coverage can get vaccinated at one of the County’s six public health centers or a local community clinic. To find the nearest location, visit the County’s Flu Vaccine Locations page or call 2-1-1 San Diego. The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated every year.
Grace Christian will continue to work with local health officials to share helpful information.
