Priority Registration is a benefit available to TRiO FESP students that ensures students get an advantage to register for courses. To earn priority registration this semester, students must complete an appointment with a FESP staff member, have all required FESP assessments completed/submitted, and attend either TRiO Day on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, 2018 or attend one TRiO FESP workshop.

We are no longer in room 2302 of Sangren and is now located in the Merze Tate Center of Sangren Hall.

The Merze Tate Center was named after Vernie Merze Tate who was the first African-American graduate of Western Michigan University (formerly known as Western Michigan Teachers College). She graduated with honors from the teaching program and from then has made amazing accomplishments within the education system as the first African-American woman. When she died in 1996 she left millions to institutions of higher education that looked beyond her race and gender.
