Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG)
Each school district is required to have a SEPAG in place to provide input related to students with disabilities. Flemington's SEPAG chairperson is Lauren Bielski. She is a parent at Desmares School and is working with the special services administrators to coordinate the first SEPAG meeting of the school year. Hold the date for: October 27, 2020 @ 6:30 p.m!
This meeting will provide a general overview of SEPAG, an introduction of new Child Study Team members and related services providers, and offer a time for input on items such as upcoming meeting times, topics, and trainings!

Educational communications
There are challenges with creating general communications regarding schedules, as students with individual educational programs (IEPs) may have programs in a variety of settings. This is especially difficult with virtual, hybrid, and self contained platforms. While trying to navigate your child's schedule, the case manager is a great resource, as is the classroom teachers. They are knowledgeable about the inner workings of the schedule for your child and may be the quickest means to a response to any questions about the same!
Marking Period Grades and IEP Goals and Objectives Progress Reports
IEP Goals and Objectives reporting will follow the same reporting periods as when report cards are issued, which is by trimester this school year. Progress reports for students in grades 2-8 will be in December, and students in PK-8 will be in March and June as well.
Progress reports are available in the Parent Portal. If you cannot access your child's progress report, kindly reach out to Danielle Marsh (dmarsh@frsd.k12.nj.us) or Elvira Friscia (efriscia@frsd.k12.nj.us).
