Dragon Magic
We often hear from people who have visited Stony Point that there is a sense of undeniable magic you feel when spending time at our school. This magic is created by the way our learning community takes care of each other.
This year, we are using the acronym MAGIC to outline expectations of the behaviors and actions that contribute towards our Stony Point Dragon Magic every day.

Welcome, Ms. Fielding!
We are excited to introduce Megan Fielding, our school-based substitute teacher! Here is a message from Ms. Fielding:
Hello, Stony Point families! My name is Megan Fielding and I am excited to be joining the Stony Point team this year. I have 2 cats and a stinky stinkin' cute corgi. Anything cute and fuzzy, cheese, coffee, and books are a few of my favorite things. I have a background with digital/graphic design, but one of my "what do you want to be when you grow up" jobs was a teacher! I've been taking steps in that direction, and am so excited to be making this transition into education as a school based sub, leading with empathy and encouragement. I can't wait to get to work with your children.
Staffing Update
Stony Point, due to its small enrollment size, is only allotted part-time staffing for some positions such as Art, Music, Talent Development, and support for English Learners. In an effort to retain amazing educators, we look to combine part-time positions together to form full-time opportunities for our staff when possible.
We are excited to share that Ms. Ferber, who was hired for the part-time music teaching position, will be completing her schedule by supporting our English Learners and serving as our Talent Development Resource Teacher. This allows Ms. Ferber to become a full time staff member for Stony Point. Ms. Ferber is thrilled to be getting to know and supporting Stony Point Dragons in a multitude of ways!
