16 February 2023 - Term 1 Week 3

Welcome to new students Darius and Cooper who joined us at David Street School.

Thank you everyone for your understanding and patience in what has been a bit of a disruptive and uncertain week for everyone. We hope you and your extended families have not been impacted too badly during cyclone Gabrielle. It was great to see the power back on and the weather improved so we were able to have all of our children back and ready for learning yesterday.

Due to the cyclone and uncertainty of electricity returning our Tuesday meetings were moved to next week on Tuesday 21 February, thank you for your understanding. If this new change does not work for you please get in touch with your child's teacher or the school office to reschedule.

Our teachers are looking forward to meeting some of our parents this afternoon / evening.

These meetings are an important opportunity to strengthen parent/school partnerships to help us meet the learning needs of your child and also answer any questions that you may have.

If you cannot make any of our meetings please get in touch with your child's teacher and arrange a time to meet.

Camp medical and transport forms went home the first week of term. These were due back to school yesterday. If you have not done so already please return any camp notices back into school asap. We need these for planning purposes.
