Mill Creek Magic Messages
News and Updates from Mr. Croyle and Mr. Murtha 12/15/2023
From Mr. Croyle and Mr. Murtha
As we approach the end of our calendar year of 2023, Mill Creek will be saying some heartfelt goodbyes to two staff members...
- Kathy Budniewski, our super supportive school nurse, will be heading into retirement. She spent many years in CB and at Mill Creek looking after the health and well-being of our students. She is going to miss them dearly, but she also looks forward to devoting more time and energy to other passions, including her beloved horses.
- Margie Felsoci-Mattia has been a teaching mainstay in CB and at Mill Creek for many years. In more recent years, she has served as a Reading Specialist at Mill Creek, working to build and develop young readers and instill them with a love of reading as part of their everyday habits. Ms. Felsoci-Mattia looks forward to spending more time with her husband and adult daughter, as well as trying out new restaurants in her ongoing culinary journey. She will miss her students and the staff at Mill Creek dearly.
If you run into either Ms. Budniewski or Ms. Felsoci-Mattia, please wish them well!
As Ms. Budniewski and Ms. Felsoci-Mattia depart, Mill Creek will welcome school nurse Kate Collins and Reading Specialist Jill von Vital. While both have experience working in Central Bucks, both will be working at Mill Creek for the first time. They both bring tremendous skills and expertise with them to Mill Creek! Also, Student Services Counselor Becky Levy recently joined the Mill Creek staff. Ms. Levy is a CB veteran, and she brings strong experience and incredible support for students with her to Mill Creek! Ms. Levy will be supporting grades K, 2, 4, and 6. We are excited to have all three of them join us, and we hope you will wish them a warm welcome, too!
Also, many thanks to Mill Creek Home and School and the many, many food and item donations from families for our Staff Appreciation Lunch held yesterday. It was greatly appreciated and delicious!
Have a wonderful weekend!
