Carver's Weekly Update
Week of Monday, May 22, 2023
Carver Parents/Guardians,
We are finally in our last week of school. The last day for students will be on Friday, May 26. Students will be dismissed at 11:10 AM on Thursday, May 25 and Friday, May 26. All students should be picked up from school no later that 11:30 AM.
On Monday, May 22, we will have extended hours (4:00 PM to 7:00 PM) for parents to drop off chromebooks , chargers, or library books. Please bring any items that need to be returned on this day. Students will be issued fines for items not turned in for the school year.
The last day for our Carver Extended Day Academy (after school program) will be on Wednesday, May 24.
Please pay special attention to the dates for our Awards Day programs and the 5th Grade Walk/Graduation listed below.
All families of Florence 1 Schools may begin registering students online for the 2023-2024 school year. The first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year is July 31. Students must be registered by July 16 to receive bus transportation on the first day. For your complete guide to registration. click here: How to Register Students for 2023-2024.
Parents will need to log into PowerSchool through a web browser in order to register students. If you need your login information, please contact Ms. Williamson (PowerSchool Operator) in our main office. We will need a valid email address for parents within our PowerSchool system to set up parent accounts.
