LEADERSHIP MESSAGE

Dear OLMP families,


This past week, we recognized and celebrated Catholic Education week. World Catholic Education Day was on Thursday, May 18th where all staff and students were encouraged to wear blue in recognition. We are also planning and preparing for upcoming final assessments; the June exam schedule should be finalized soon and this will be shared with students as well as our school community.


Grad 2023-Congratulations to our Grads who celebrate this milestone next weekend! We are very proud of you all and we look forward to the celebrations this week.


Emergency drills-we will be completing our last set of fire drills in the weeks to come.


Student Placement Letter 2023-2024-As we plan for next year, our professional staff will collaborate to best meet the needs of all students next school year. Please read the following letter outlining our rationale with this process. Please see attachment below.

Areas Track Meet- Wednesday May 17th (Camrose)

Zone Track Meet- Wednesday May 24th (Stettler)

Provincials- Friday June 2nd, Saturday June 3rd (Edmonton)

  • Any students interested in joining the High School track team can sign up in the phys ed office or email Mr. Reinhart at christopherr@eics.ab.ca

  • Open Practice: Track equipment will be set up outside afterschool from 3:45 to 4:30 on May 3rd, 8th, 9th, 11th and 15th for any High School students who would like to train for their chosen events.

OLMP MISSION STATEMENT

2023-2024 Camrose Calendar Approved

The EICS Board of Trustees approved the 2023/24 school year calendars at the February Board meeting. Both Camrose school calendars are attached below.
