Ladd Needs You!

We have had several days where students have needed to be combined into other classes or instruction has been cancelled elsewhere to free up a staff member. We need substitutes! We will train you and support you when you are here. Neighbor teachers are always really helpful. There's an icecream sundae of ideas below about why subbing is so great.


If subbing is not your thing, we need adults in the building from 10:15-12:40 to help with lunch and recess coverage. We can pay you or you can volunteer. There is a volunteer packet that needs to be completed. We may be able to work out having your younger children in the building with you when you are volunteering. You can work/volunteer one day a week or five!

Attendance

We had 80% of our students with 90% attendance or better during first quarter. We hit our first quarter goal! Unfortunately, as we get to the colder months, we traditionally loose this progress. Last week, we had a day with over 20% of our students out of the building. I know illness is going through our school and town, which adds to the struggle. Please remember to call in to inform us of any absence.

If your child does not have money on their account, we allow them to charge to the principal's account one time. After that, they do not receive a full lunch. Consider applying for free/reduced lunch.
