We hope that each of you has enjoyed a restful and restorative break filled with special moments with your friends and family.

Just a friendly reminder, all students must wear their ID daily. They must be worn above the waist and visible at all times.

Mr. Lopez goes above and beyond for his students. He puts in numerous extra hours to prepare for his classes. He recently created an entire program and process to elect officers and invited staff to participate in the interview process. It was neat to see the special connection he has with his students and how he is working to prepare them for the future. Mr. Lopez is also a caring coworker and a positive energy to be around.

Would you like to give your child a fun recognition or shout out on our announcement TV slides that run in the halls by the library and in the front office? Submit one HERE. These will be updated weekly and can be submitted for ANYTHING positive: congratulations on a special achievement, words of encouragement, etc. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our Mustangs are doing inside and outside of school!

For the safety of our students, please remember to access the car rider line for drop off/pick up and minimize the use of the parking lot for drop off/ pick up.

Most students don’t use a locker as passing periods are 4 minutes long. We have talked to teachers about composition books staying in classrooms to lighten backpacks. Thank You!

The counseling team will continue student "minute meetings". Minute Meetings allow us the opportunity to meet with EVERY student at Corbett. This will give us an opportunity to build relationships with our students, assess immediate student needs, and plan for future student related activities.

The meetings are designed to be very quick so students should not miss much class time when we call them down. Parents/Caregivers please email your student's counselor with any questions. We look forward to meeting with our students.

• Instruments need to go home every day, and students should practice every day for at least 10 minutes :)
• All band students should purchase some black dress pants and shoes for the upcoming concert on December 6th at Clemens HS.
• Lastly, tests are due every Thursday at midnight and students have all week to complete their Smartmusic tests at home or in class.

Registration for bus transportation is now open.

The Zonar MyView app for SCUC ISD. You will be able to use this to track your student’s bus to and from school as well as receive important messages about bus updates, delays or changes.

You will need the SCUC ISD access code: SCH3368, your student’s bus number and student ID number to begin setting up the app.

One important tip is to not input the “leading zero” in on the student ID number. For example, if your student ID is 0123456, only input 123456 – your student's name should show up on the app. If you need assistance there is a help link in the app that will send an email to the transportation staff and we can assist you.
