Monday, February 5th- Green or Grow bowling celebration for 3rd-5th grade students who met the critiria for Winter assessments.

Wednesday, February 7th- Green or Grow bowling celebration for Kindergarten-2nd grade students who met the critiria for Winter assessments.

- 5th Grade will go to the Junior High to participate in the coding activity "Code Crush"

Thursday, February 8th- No School- Parent Teacher conferences. Please make sure that you have signed up for a conference time on the Sign-up Genius App.

Friday, Febuary 9th- No School Winter Break

If you have a child who will be 3 on or before July 31, 2024 they are eligible for preschool. If you are interested in sending your child to Southwest Preschool call Nanci at 308-364-2613 or stop by for an application.

Class of 2036! We are starting to look at our student enrollment for next school year. If your child is, or will be, 5 before July 31, 2024 they are ready to start Kindergarten. Please contact the Elementary School to get him/her registered for school this fall. We will have Kindergarten Orientation on March 11th from 5:30-6:30. Once you are registered we will send out more information about orientation!

The Southwest Elementary Rock'n Riders are sponsoring a fundraiser to raise money for one of our local familes who lost their home in a recent fire. Students can donate change or bills to the fundraiser jug until February 12th. When the jug is full we will celebrate with a Pajama and Popcorn day!
