Student Achievement
Ms. Nardone’s technology classes are working on Black history reports. The students are researching historical figures, filling out a google doc sheet with the information they find and then recording their report to make QR code’s. The classes are creating an interactive Black History display in the hallway.
Mrs. Sheeran, Mrs. Buccafurni-Tabasso, and Mrs. Hickman's class has been exchanging pen pal letters with Mrs. Anderson's 3rd grade class at Robeson Elementary Center in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. We are lucky to have Mrs. Buccafurni-Tabasso's nephew's class in a different state to participate in this writing activity! The students have enjoyed not only reading and writing their letters, but also sharing the differences in our communities and classrooms. We are looking forward to their next letter!
Mrs. Swigert and Mrs. Alverson's class read the story 'The Printer' and in that story the main character is deaf. The students learned about sign language and learned how to spell their names in sign language too!
Mrs. Efstatos' 3rd grade students worked with their job shadowing high school student to learn about bar graphs using skittles!

Mrs. Huba’s 2nd grade class welcomed Miss Ondersin, a student teacher from Stockton University. Miss Ondersin will be helping us learn and grow as we help her on her journey to becoming a teacher.
Ms. Sullivan's library class had a surprise guest reader!!
