Mustang Family,

I hope you all had a nice weekend! This week we have SEPs on Thursday night, the Book Fair, our last day of Term 3, and no school on Friday.

We want to thank all of you for your generous support during our fundraiser! We are so proud of our students for all of the reading they did. We are excited about being able to purchase guided-reading books and technology!

With March Madness this month, we are going to choose a few students to shoot hoops for cash. Students will be given a ticket for each level of math facts they have completed. One student will be chosen from the tickets to shoot baskets.

If you have not yet signed up for SEPs, here is the link to sign up for an appointment...the passcode is murphy (he is our mascot). This sign-up will be live until tomorrow at 2pm. If you haven't scheduled by then, you will need to contact your child's teacher to create an appointment.

Our Book Fair is open every day this week before school, after school, and during lunch. Parents, aunts/uncles, or grandparents are welcome to come eat with their students during lunch.

* Monday, March 11th: 6th Grade students sign up for classes at MJHS

* Tuesday, March 12th: PTA Meeting 10:30-11:30; 5th grade science Reaction Time, Last day to sign up for an SEP appointment online; after 2 pm, you will need to contact your child's teacher.

* Wednesday, March 13th: Fire Drill @ 2:30

* Thursday, March 14th: SEP Conferences, Last day of Term 3

* Friday, March 15th: P/C Comp Day—NO School

* Monday, March 18th: Final Round of After-School Clubs begin, First day of Term 4

Kindergarten Registration Moving to Summer

This message is for parents who have children entering kindergarten this fall. Please forward this to anyone who needs this information but may not receive this email.

Kindergarten registration, traditionally held in March, will be moved to the summer and combined with grades 1-12. More detailed information regarding summer K-6 registration will be sent out to you before the end of the school year.

Parents can prepare now for registering their kindergarten children by making sure they have a birth certificate and that their child is current on the following immunizations: DTap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Varicella and MMR by the end of July.
