Dear Families:
Our 5th grade students enjoyed another fun Weekend Warm-Up on Friday. Thank you to the PTO and all of the families who have volunteered and led the efforts for these events for our students this year! We also welcomed 4th grade students and families to Skokie for 4th grade Family Night. This was a great way for 4th grade students and their families to visit Skokie and hear from some our students and educators about the Skokie experience. We are looking forward to welcoming the students again this Friday for Shadow Day.
Upcoming Events
May 26: 4th grade Shadow Day at Skokie; half day for students - 11:50 dismissal
May 31st: 6th grade Send off Celebration at Skokie from 3:30-4:45
Artist in Residence Performance
This Friday we will also welcome Funkadesi for two performances at Skokie. We are looking forward to this experience for our students.

Acceleration Policy Implementation: Seeking Your Feedback
This year the District implemented new acceleration policy procedures for single-subject and grade acceleration, using a variety of methods to communicate the procedures. The Department of Innovation, Teaching and Learning is gathering feedback about this new approach. The survey results will be reviewed in order to determine areas of strength and areas for improvement related to implementation of single-subject and grade acceleration. Thank you in advance for sharing your input! Please complete the survey by Friday, June 2. Acceleration: Feedback Survey
