A Message from Principal Evans
Dear Bethune Families,
What an exciting and eventful week it has been at Bethune Elementary! Our school was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable experiences for our students.
To kick off the week, our kindergarteners had a special visit from two llamas as part of their engaging story time session. It was a delightful and unique way to spark the imagination of our young learners.
Meanwhile, our first graders embarked on an educational adventure to the Georgia Aquarium, immersing themselves in lessons on maritime life. Experiential learning opportunities like these create lasting memories and deepen understanding.
The cultural enrichment continued as our Prancing Pantherettes had the incredible opportunity to witness the Alvin Ailey dancers perform at the Fox Theater. Exposing our students to the arts is a crucial aspect of their holistic development.
Celebrating our 100th day of school was a momentous occasion for all Bethunites. It's a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, and staff. Everyone at Bethune Elementary came together to mark this milestone with joy and enthusiasm.
Even our hardworking staff had a chance to unwind and enjoy some camaraderie with a game of BINGO during lunch break. It's essential to find moments of relaxation and fun to recharge for the continued excellence we strive for at Bethune Elementary School.
As we reflect on the past week, let's celebrate the achievements, adventures, and the sense of community that defines Bethune Elementary. Thank you for being an integral part of our school family.
Here's to another week of excellence ahead!
BESt,
Principal Evans
