Prop S for our school
Prop S for Our School
As you may know, Parkway is on the November 8 ballot with a zero-tax-rate increase bond issue - Proposition S.
Key projects funded by Prop S would ensure more safe, secure and accessible learning environments for our students.
What is included for our school?
Build safe and accessible playgrounds
Replace 10 roof sections
Replace three sections of pavement
Replace one exterior ramp
Replace seven sections of sidewalk
Replace 10 exterior doors
Removal of asbestos floor, ceiling and wallboards
Improve ADA accessibility in cafeteria
Replace aging classroom technology (interactive flat panels)
If approved by voters on November 8, Prop S will fund hundreds of similar projects across all 29 Parkway schools for the next six years (2023-2028) to keep our aging buildings in good working order. Prop S will not change the current tax rate.
Learn more about Prop S here or feel free to reach out with any questions.
It's Pumpkin Time! A Note From Mrs. Manley
It is that time of year again where we decorate pumpkins as our favorite book characters. The students and teachers have so much fun decorating their pumpkins as a favorite book character. Plus, the library looks amazing with all the pumpkins on display.
Our goal is for each classroom to have a pumpkin to decorate. We need your help!
Can you donate a pumpkin for your child’s classroom or another classroom?
We would love to have all pumpkins by Friday, October 7th. You may bring them to car lane or drop them off at the main office.
*Wal-Mart currently has pumpkins for $5! Aldi usually has great deals, too.
Contact Mrs. Manley, librarian, with any questions. lmanley@parkwayschools.net
