Place 2 Be
Place2Talk
This Place2Be service is now offered within school during break and lunch time Monday - Wednesday. Sessions are booked in advance and it is an opportunity for pupils to spend 15 - 20 minutes with me, alone or with a friend, talking about any issues they are facing.
It is a self-referral service, but if you think someone might benefit from it - please do remind them! Parents and carers have the right to opt their child out, and some parents have done this, so not at all pupils are able to attend.
Pupils can refer themselves in a number of ways:
- Posters are going up around school with my email address on
- 3 Post Boxes are also being made available (in the library, outside the fitness suite and on the staircase to the Safeguarding Team) for referral slips
- By any adult within school who is asked by a pupil to make an appointment / referral (please email me on rebecca.fricker@lister.ncltrust.net)
- I will also be giving each House Team, and other departments, a bundle of referral slips to hand out
Library Opening
From this week, our wonderful library is open to students during lunches and at break times. In our Year of Reading, it is an excellent opportunity to improve reading ages and to get lost in a wonderful book
