Principal's Message
Hello Heritage School Families! It is hard to believe that we have been here for 7 school days already! At the Heritage Elementary School we strive to make learning engaging and fun! I feel extremely fortunate to be the principal of a school with such wonderful children, a motivated and dedicated staff, and parents who work with us to create an environment that allows our students to be able to meet with great success. Our faculty and staff are highly committed to providing the most rewarding education possible and making the process of learning an enjoyable experience. Your child's education is our top priority! We look forward to working together with you to make your child’s educational experience a positive one.
As we begin the 2022-2023 school year the teachers continue to use more researched based strategies to promote high student achievement. We feel strongly that the initiatives and curriculum already in place, provide a strong foundation for exceptional learning. This along with the support of our families and community makes Heritage Elementary an amazing place to learn and work.
Parental involvement in our school community is high, and for that parents are applauded. Research demonstrates that such involvement is the most important factor in determining student success in school. Parental involvement can take many forms. First and foremost, parental involvement means getting children to school every day and getting them here on time. This can't be stressed enough. READ to your child every evening. This helps students build their vocabulary and love of reading, as well as impressing the importance of reading!
We look forward to a fun and rewarding journey this 2022-2023 school year.

The Un-Fundraiser is back! Last year the PTO was able to provide so much for the students, families, and teachers including an amazing Field Day for the Heritage School, new gym equipment for the Middle School and Heritage School, supplies for Kindergarten classes, cost reductions for field trips, Italian ice days and Kona Ice for all schools, just to name a few. This wouldn’t be possible without fundraising, but we recognize that some families get fundraiser-ed out. The Un-Fundraiser is a great way to donate money directly to the PTO! No selling raffle tickets, buying products you don’t need, or pressuring friends and family. When you donate, you can rest assured that 100% of the money goes to the Charlton schools and feel guilt-free if you don’t participate in other fundraising ventures.
