In going over the data collected around our Back To School days, we have decided to conduct our Open House on Thursday, May 4th from 8:15-9:15am.

We received a large majority of positive responses from our Back To School Days, and we also took into account suggestions we received.

• We will be inviting all grades on the same day.
• We are giving as much advance notice as possible.
• We have extended the amount of time families can spend in the classroom.
• Students will attend with families- no need for childcare.
• Allow our classified staff the ability to be present.
• Families will be able to further explore the campus

We look forward to seeing everyone!!

Lin Howe Dodgers Day April 30 & Dodgers Fundraising!

Lin Howe has partnered with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2023 season!

For each Dodgers ticket purchased through Lin Howe's special ticket link, a portion of the sales will go back to Lin Howe! There are 25 games to choose from ranging from April 2 to September 20! Feel free to share the link with family & friends.

**Join us for Lin Howe Dodgers Day at the April 30 1:10pm game - Dodgers v. Cardinals (Mr. Chabola's favorite team!). Grab Left Field Pavilion Seats and we'll try to get a Lin Howe cheering section going. If you'd prefer to sit elsewhere, stay tuned for info on between innings Lin Howe meetups. Wear your Lin Howe gear and let's support our school and the Dodgers!

Organizes and oversees submissions for the yearly Reflections Art Contest

Yearbooks will be available to order from now until April 14th

1. ONLINE

It's very important to update your child's grade and teacher info if you have bought yearbooks in the past. If you are buying multiple yearbooks for different kids make sure you include the teachers/grade information for each student.

There is a $1 fee for purchasing online.

2. ENVELOPE FORMS

We are sending envelope forms home with your kids the week of March 20th. If you would like to pay by cash you can do so this way. Have your student return the envelope to their teacher OR drop at the front office. Make sure to clearly write your child's first and last name, grade and teacher's name.

3. IN PERSON

Pre order a yearbook in person April 12th-14th outside the Kinder gates and main gate. We will accept cash EXACT CHANGE ONLY $25 or credit cards. NO CHECKS

The very last day for purchasing a yearbook is April 14th. We cannot accept late orders so please plan accordingly.

Yearbooks will be delivered to school at the end of May/early June and passed out by their teachers.

Physician's Statement for parents or guardians for students with food allergies.

If your child has a food allergy you should provide Food Service with a statement signed by your child's doctor. This is especially important if your child eats in the cafeteria.

Statement forms (below) don't need to be submitted annually, but should be resubmitted if your child has any changes in their allergy information.

PURCHASE A LAWN/WINDOW SIGN FOR $10!

to honor a CCHS 2023 graduate, the promotion of a CCMS 8th grader, or the promotion of a 5th grader or Kinder student at each of our 5 Culver City Elementary schools (Farragut, El Marino, El Rincon, Lin Howe, or La Ballona).

Buy one for yourself or your student, or you can even Sponsor a Senior by purchasing a sign for a student who may not be able to afford one. Signs are great for students, parents, teachers, and staff!

Each sign is 24″ by 18″ full color. Metal “H” stake included. Can also be displayed in a window.

LAWN SIGNS ARE IN STOCK NOW! Lawn signs will be available for pick-up or purchase on Thursday 3/16 from 4-5pm, in the parking lot between Farragut Elementary and CCMS.

Alternate pick-up/sales dates will be held from March through May and at each school's respective Open House. Stay tuned for email notifications with pick-up times, dates, and locations.

THE LAWN SIGN SALE WILL END ON June 5th AT 12PM, OR WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

This fundraiser is sponsored by the Culver City High School PTSA. All proceeds for each school’s lawn sign sales will go to the CCHS PTSA to be reinvested back into the school and used for scholarships for the senior class.
