❤️ Valentine's Spirit Days
~Monday, February 8th - 100th Day of School
We love being 100 days smarter! How can you show off this special day. Are you going to dress like you are 100 years old? Wear something that represents 100. Be creative!
~Tuesday, February 9th -Super Hero Day
Which super hero do you LOVE? Wear your favorite super hero shirt or attire.
~Wednesday, February 10th - Kindness Counts at Calusa
Show how you LOVE to be kind to others at Calusa. Wear red, white and pink.
~Thursday, February 11th- Sports Day
Which team do you LOVE? Wear your favorite team short or jersey.
~Friday, February 12th-Valentine's Day at Calusa
Show off your Valentine's attire, hats, socks and accessories. Which class will be the most spirited?
❤️ Valentine Cards
Students can bring in Valentine's cards for their class friends! We are asking that cards be brought in by Wednesday, February 10th. This will allow time for the cards to be in a period of quarantine before Friday, February 12th. Please plan ahead and bring your cards to school early!
We ask that if your child is bringing cards, we encourage you to include all the members of their class family. Your teacher will be sharing a class list. We don't want anyone to feel left out.
❤️ Cupid's Card Fundraiser
Students can purchase Cupid Cards for their classmates, teachers and staff members to show their love. They will be sold in the mornings beginning February 4th through February 12th. They cost $1 per card. Sponsored by PTO. All proceeds will go to 5th grade graduation activities. See flyer below.
❤️ Important Reminders
We apologize but for Valentine's Day celebrations we have to limit outside food and/or candy. Please reach out to your child's teacher for additional information.
