Weekly Update
Holy Trinity Catholic School -- October 12th, 2023
Prayer
O God of Creation, thank you for the changing seasons.
You are the God of the seasons, and I praise you that you know how to give each of us what we need when we need it. Thank you for being my God, leading me in ways that only you can.
I ask that as I go through these changing seasons that you would continue to guide me and that you would continue to remind me that I can find peace in you even in the midst of the changes.
Thank you that you are a God of change, and you always lead us to better and deeper connection in you. In Jesus' name, Amen
A Note from Mrs. Longden
Do you ever feel like you need a mother? Maybe your mother is older or has passed from this earth, and you wish that you still had her to share your day with, to get advice from, or to comfort you.
We do have a mother who is there for us. It is Mary, the Blessed Mother. She is there to intercede for us, to guide us, and to give us comfort. The month of October is a typical time when we pray and recognize the wonderful gift that Jesus has given to us as He shares His Mother with us.
We use the Rosary as a tool to focus on the life of Jesus and how that journey might change our lives. The Holy Rosary comes in all colors and sizes. It is beautiful. It comes from special places or people in our lives. It gets blessed. We can use it to connect with our Mother Mary, and when we do, that brings great comfort and inspiration to our lives.
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden
