Ranger Report
2/16/24
Hello Ranger Families:
As we enter a three day weekend, I wish all of you a safe, relaxing, fun-filled time away from your daily routines. Please try to find some time to connect with each other this weekend and return to school refreshed. As we begin our third week of the second semester, I would like to encourage all students to keep focused on their learning and ELS completion goals. Use your new digital trackers, think about your learning, and continue a steady effort of work completion. June will be here in no time and we want you to be in a good place now to avoid unnecessary stress later.

Please partner with us to ensure that your child is proficient in all essential learning standards. EHS teachers and counselors are working actively to reteach challenging concepts, reach out to families and create action plans for students who have not yet shown proficiency. We can do this!

Student Behavior
Safety is Estacada High School’s first priority. For students to be able to learn, they must first feel safe. At Estacada High School, we implement a robust, consistent, and caring behavior management system designed to help students access their education. From attendance matters to challenges with drugs and alcohol to bullying issues, we are here to support all students. Below, please review our school behavior expectations and the related accountability measures for violating those expectations. To promote clarity and consistency, each week I will highlight one aspect of that system within the Ranger Report. Thank you for your help in partnering with the high school to promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Driving Off Campus - Students may walk off campus during lunch only. The tardy policy will be in place for students who are not in class on time to 5th period. Driving off campus is not permitted at any time during the school day.
-This will lead to In-School Suspension. Additional support and/or discipline may be in place for subsequent violations.

Classrooms are Cell Phone Free Zones
Life is full of distractions that keep us from performing our best.
Our expectation is that classrooms are cell phone free zones.
The classroom is a space for learning and engagement in preparation for a student’s next step in life. Join us in fostering this commitment to learning by:
Talking with your student about their cell phone use in school.
Be prepared to set limits and to collaborate with school staff in making learning a priority.
