Thank you for making Grandparents Day and the All Pro Dads breakfast special for our scholars! This week our scholars will take their DCCAs. Join us this Friday to watch 17 of our scholars perform at half time with the High Steppers.

Blackout Card Fundraiser
Our Blackout Card Fundraiser will run from September 9, 2022 - September 30, 2022. The fundraiser is meant to assist our campus with funding clubs, our prize patrol and incentives, events and functions, security for our events, Longhorn Market, and other needs of our campus. Our goal is for 100% of our school community to support in some way. If you have any questions please contact your scholars teacher.

Submitting Payments
There are two options for submitting final payments.
Option 1: MyPaymentsPlus - Visit www.mypaymentsplus.com and submit your final payments online. You can edit the amount on the website when you click purchase to the amount you actually raised.
Option 2: Cash - Place cash in the attached envelope and have your scholar give it to their teacher. Teachers will collect cash at the beginning of the school day. Parents can also drop cash off to the front office between the hours of 8:00am - 10:00am. Please ensure cash is in the provided envelope and it is sealed.Classroom Challenge
The classroom that has the most participation will receive a Pizza Party!
FAQ - Answers to questions we had last year.
1. Can my scholar complete more than one Blackout Card? - Yes
2. I have more than one child, do we have to complete multiple cards? - No, we have family blackout cards that were passed out. All siblings should be listed on the card.

MEMBERSHIP
Have you signed up to be a member of PTA? Annual membership dues for adults are $10.00. New this year, we are offering a student membership for just $5.00! Enroll by Friday, September 30th to help us win the Early Bird Achievement Award! We need 100 more people to reach out goal!
PROGRAMS
CHCPPTA invites you to participate in the National PTA Reflections program. This year's theme is "Show Your Voice!" Scholars can submit entries in any of six different artistic categories, and have their work recognized and celebrated on a local, state, and national level! Click here for more information, and email vp@chcppta.org if you have any questions. Submissions will be due October 31, 2022. We can't wait to see what our scholars create!
The National PTA School of Excellence recognition program opens the lines of communication and critical thinking within school communities. The program is committed to supporting and recognizing partnerships between local PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. This year we are aiming for our 3rd designation. Please take 5 minutes and complete our baseline survey.

SALES
All orders placed through Tuesday, September 13th have been delivered to scholars' classrooms. If you have not received your order - please check your scholar's belongings thoroughly, then reach out to their teacher to ensure the order is not still in the classroom. If you still do not have your order, please inquire by emailing sales@chcppta.org.
You can still place orders for spirit wear or uniform patches by clicking here. Going forward, orders will be delivered to your scholar within 5-7 days after being submitted.
****Please note that our volunteers are unable to meet with families individually to deliver their orders. Thank you for understanding.****

Mrs. Tyler-Johnson
My name is Mrs. Tyler-Johnson and I serve as the campus Instructional Facilitator. In my role I'm tasked with supporting teachers and scholars. I will be collaborating with our teachers this school year to help develop effective plans and provide engaging classroom experiences to help all scholars THRIVE. I will also support in the area of small group RLA intervention in grades 3-5. I'm a servant at heart so my desire is to help in assisting all that I serve reach their fullest potential.
