Please make sure to check over all of the information below so that you can be prepared for the start of the school year. There are a few updates!

School Bus Rules

1. Stay in your seat at all times.

2. Sit in your seat-no standing or leaning over the seats.

3. No fighting, tripping, or pushing others.

4. No eating.

5. No yelling or bad language.

6. No damaging bus or other's property.

7. No disrespectful behavior.

Violating these bus rules will result in written warnings and possible bus suspension. We need all students to do their best so that everyone can remain safe on the bus.

If you need to set up bus transportation please call the bus garage at 309-289-4012. Chuck Hillery is our head of transportation.

Morning drop off begins at 7:45. Staff will begin letting students out of cars at 7:45. All staff members that help with drop off start their day at 7:45, so please be aware that this is our start time for letting students out of vehicles.

On the first day of school, parents can drop their students off, but not walk students to their classrooms. We will have all of our staff members available to help your child get to the right place!

Rules for drop off:

1. If you would like to walk your child up to the door please park on the street or the parking lot and walk your child to the door.

2. If you are dropping your child off, please pull into the circle drive. Staff members will open the door of your car and let your child out. Please remain in your car so that we can make this a quick drop off! When adults get out in the circle drive it backs up traffic.

3. Once your child has safely left the car you can pull through the circle drive.

4. Staff members are opening doors at drop off as fast as they can to get your child out safely. Please make sure your child is ready to go when a staff member gets to your vehicle. We appreciate your patience.

Pre-K pick up and drop off:

1. If you are dropping your child off at 12:15 pm or picking them up from pre-k at 1030 am, please do not pull in the circle drive. You can park on the street to wait for your child or in the parking lot and walk up. If you are dropping your pre-k student off at 7:45 am please follow the rules above. Pre-K students start their day in the morning at. 8:00 am.

Once students enter the building they go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast or they go to the gym.

K-4 students walk down to their classrooms at 8:05 am. Students are considered tardy after 8:15 am.

Students are dismissed at 3:00. You can park on the street in front of the school or in the parking lot and walk up to pick up your child.

Rules for Pick Up:

1. Please do not pull in the circle drive or block the circle drive.

2. Please do not double park. It is dangerous for students and vehicles.

3. Please be aware of students walking and riding bikes.

4. Students riding bikes must stay on the sidewalks when available.

Skyward registration is open! If you have an old link or an app, you will need the most current link to register your child. I have linked this below. You can register online and pay online as well. We approve each online registration in the office. If there are any errors, we will call you for corrections.

Mable Woolsey will be open next Monday August 7th and Tuesday August 8th for help with registration as well.

Updates:

*If your student is in Pre-K please remember that you will still need to register your student online.

*If you started your registration, please remember to log back in and finish!

*If you forgot your login information we can reset it for you and get you your username and password.

Helpful Registration Tips:

• Skyward Registration works best on a computer or laptop.
• There is no option to click PALS for after school. Please email our secretary Trudy Godde at tgodde@bluebullets.org if your child will go to PALS after school this year.
• For the step that asks about whether you would like your child to have an email or not, please click yes. If you do not click yes, then your child cannot log into a Chromebook or iPad. The Student Online Personal Protection Act, or SOPPA, is the student data privacy law that regulates students' covered information by school, the Illinois State Board of Education, and education technology vendors. Your child's information legally will not be shared outside of the district.
• Please make sure to click who you approve to pick up your child in your emergency contacts.
• If you do not pay online, please make sure to go back online and pay or drop off a check or cash to Mable Woolsey.

New students, students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade students have health requirements for registration. Please click below to read through the requirements. Forms can be dropped off at the district office, Mable Woolsey, or emailed to our district nurse, Jessica Lenz, jessicalenz@bluebullets.org.

School supply lists are linked below. We have partnered with School Toolbox again for supply boxes. These boxes are editable! You can remove items you do not need. They ship quickly! My boxes for my children came in three business days.

Preschool Supplies

Preschool students only need to bring a regular full sized backpack. All other supplies are provided through our preschool grant.

Preschool students can bring a water bottle each day. Preschool students also receive free breakfast, snack, and lunch for full day preschool.

All students Pre-k through 4th grade can come drop off all of their school supplies, meet their teacher, and tour the school. Each student will also receive an ice cream cup on the way out! We will also have our first PTO meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the teachers' lounge.

Download the Knoxville CUSD 202 App and turn on notifications! This way you will not miss any announcements. When news is shared on our website "live feed" this will go straight to the app. The app also has a live view of the calendar of events.

We will continue to use the SeeSaw family app this year. Classes will be rolled over after registration is complete. You will receive directions for how to connect to your child's new class from your child's teacher.

We still are raising money so that we can continue the program for many years to come!

We have updated our Peanut Policy at Mable Woolsey. We will now be offering individually wrapped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at lunch and allowing nut products in student lunches. Nut-free items will still be required for classroom snacks. Read the letter linked below for more information.
