BISD Board Goal 5: Improve academic achievement of all students through communication, access to information and a network of community partnerships.

Finley-Oates partnered with First United Bank to provide cards for area nursing home residents. Our 2nd and 3rd grade students wrote messages on the cards provided by the bank.

BISD Goal 4: Promote a positive and service-oriented culture within the Bonham ISD.

100th Day of School

To celebrate 100 Days of school we did 100 of ACTS of KINDNESS

Kindergarten - collected 100 pairs of underwear

First Grade - Collected 100 pairs of adult socks to be given to residents of area nursing homes and made 100 cards for Nursing Home Residents.

Second Grade - Collected 100 non-perishable items to be given to a local food pantry

Third Grade - Collected 100 cans of pet food to be donated to the local shelter!

BISD Board Goal 3: Ensure all students have high levels of academic achievement

with a focus on literacy and mathematics through improved leadership, instruction, support and a climate of continuous improvement.

Upon being challenged with longer lists, these 2 earned even more certificates in Mrs. Parson's Class!
