Class of 2022 Graduation This Week!

Dear Atholton Families,

Happy Memorial Day! On this Memorial Day, thank you for taking a moment to honor and remember our servicemen and servicewomen who answered America's call to service and paid the ultimate price.

This week is an exciting week – GRADUATION DAY!! The commencement for the Class of 2022 will take place on Thursday, June 2 @ 11 am at Merriweather Post Pavilion. This past week was full of multiple rehearsals to ensure our graduates were prepared for their big day. In addition to the big day on Thursday for seniors and their families, the other members of our community need to know that we have an early dismissal on Thursday. Please make note of this early closing! We will only have two classes on Thursday, periods 4A and 4B. See the schedule below.

School Closes at 10 am on Thursday, June 2

As part of our school improvement process, we are asking families to provide input about their equity priorities for our school. Please use the link below to complete the Indicators of Educational Equity Survey by June 10, 2022. We will use your input, along with other school data, to refine our school improvement plan for next school year.

The survey is anonymous and available in multiple languages. If you have children at more than one school, please complete one survey per school.

If you have any questions, please contact me at Robert_Motley@hcpss.org. Every school in Howard County is working to gain input as we all prepare to create our school improvement plans. Your input is invaluable as we need to hear from you regarding the Indicators of Educational Equity Survey.

Lastly, as we continue planning for next year we are making changes to school counselor assignments. Please see the new counselor assignments below, starting July 1, 2022.
