RESOURCES FOR PARISHES
This is a great resource for Lenten faith-sharing. We have been hearing from groups around the diocese. If your parish is already taking part in the small group study and has wisdom or advice to share, please email Leslie. Best advice we are currently hearing: stick with the program as is. It is well-developed for timing and conversation, and going off-schedule or topic has interfered with that in some places. Still contemplating and have questions? Watch the webinar below!
PLAN TO BE PART OF THE NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE
Four Eucharistic Pilgrimages will Travel for the Two Months Prior to the Congress
Another exciting part of this parish year is that our Risen Lord will be traveling with Perpetual Pilgrims from four different routes across our country to the Congress in Indianapolis. The closest route to us will be the Seton pilgrimage which will travel from Connecticut beginning May 16 and make its way to Indianapolis via New York city, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, D.C, and three stops in Ohio: Steubenville, Columbus, and Cincinnati. The faithful can participate as part of the Eucharistic Caravan and walk with the Pilgrims for a stretch or attend worship. To keep informed on where the public will be welcomed to participate along the way, register for updates at the link below!
You can also plan your own pilgrimage within your community or region! This is a great way to collaborate with other parishes!
Here is a recent testimonial from a teen that was part of our pilgrimage to the National Catholic Youth Conference. We leave you with her words; the EUCHARIST is a powerful force when we open our heart to it!
