Lost and Found
The Green Meadow Lost and Found is growing by the day. We will be placing items outside at arrival and dismissal. f on Tuesday, 12/12, and Wednesday, 12/13. If you are missing something please come by and take a look. One of the best ways to keep your child's belongings out of our Lost and Found is to label your child's jackets, snow pants, water bottles. etc.. If we see a name on the item we will return it directly to the child. Items that are still here over winter break will be donated.
Curriculum and Assessment Updates
Hour of Code in Grade 2
This week our Grade 2 classes participated in the Hour of Code in their Instructional Technology classes with our Technology Educator, Lisa DiSalvatore. Parents were invited to attend to learn more about the ways students are engaging in coding through our Computer Sciences curriculum. Students had the opportunity to show off their skills through a variety of apps, including Scratch Jr. and Dance Party. Families can access these apps and more through Clever. You can use this link to learn how to access Clever from home.

PTO Updates
Holiday Shoppe 2023
We Need Your Help!
We need parents to shop with kids as well as do simple wrapping (put items in bags)! This is a great opportunity to volunteer for an hour or two with no major commitment and a super fun event for all that participate!
Go to Holiday Shoppe Volunteer Sign-Up to sign up!
Don't forget to sign up your student!
The event gives children the opportunity to purchase a special gift for their family/friends. This event is for students in grades K-3 only. Gifts range from $.25 to $10 with most being in the $5 range.
The Holiday Shoppe will run on Saturday, December 9th at the Boys and Girls Club from 10am-2pm. All children wanting to participate will need to sign up for a time slot. Parents will bring their child(ren) to the club at their designated time slot and then wait in the car while their child(ren) shop. Volunteers will be there to shop with your child(ren) and bring them back to your car when completed. If you have a child that may be anxious or need extra support we are happy to allow one parent to shop with them – please email kim@gmpto.org if needed.
Time slots are on a first come, first serve basis. Make sure to sign-up each of your children for a timeslot, not yourself!
