Wildcat update

Welcome back Wildcats!!

Our Walterville staff really enjoyed our first full week of school. Students returned to school ready to learn and excited to be here. This year is going to be a great year at Walterville. Just a few reminders as we get going this year.

Morning drop off: Campus supervision begins at 8:15 am. All students report to the cafeteria from 8:15-8:25. Breakfast is Free for all students and available in the cafeteria when students arrive. Classrooms open at 8:25. School officially starts at 8:35. The drop off gate will be closed at 8:30. If students are late to school they must check in at the office before going to class.

Pick up: School is over at 2:50. Please line up at the back back to recieve students. We thank you for your patience as we get more efficient at this process.

Early Release: Our first early release Friday is 9/22. School is out at 12:30. Please mark your calendars. Pick up time is 12:30.

Open House: We will be having an open house on October 5th from 5pm-6:15pm. Classrooms will be open for families to come visit and meet your students teachers. Student will be excited to share their classrooms with you so we hope you can come.

PTO: Meeting 9/18 6pm-7pm in the Library. Wildcat wear will be sold this month by the PTO. October 31st will be this years Jog-O-Thon. Please attend PTO meetings or reach out to Jenny Young our PTO President if you would like to get involved.

kelso's Choice: As a school we are learning about Kelso the frog and learning to resolve conflict and small problems. These strategies will be reinforced by all Walterville staff throughout the school year.
