TIPS Journal October 31, 2020
keeping our families in the school loop
Greetings from Tokyo International Progressive School
Hello from the principal's desk. This journal hopes to keep you informed of the school's activities. Any questions, please ask.
Having survived our Halloween festivities, we now look forward to a school-wide debate activity for all grades that begins in November. The English teacher of each grade kicks it off with a persuasive speech activity, which culminates in December with four students voted the debate winning team. Thank Mr. Jessen-Petersen for the inspiration that came from a grade 11 literature activity.
Our counselor, Ms. Emiko Kakimoto, is with us each Friday and occasional Tuesdays. She welcomes parents to her afternoon sessions in our building or on Skype. You may reach her through our office.
Sincerely,
Lyn Sato
Principal
